Customize Hello! My name is John and I am from the UK. I have been teaching English online and in the classroom for the past 3+ years. I am a certified ESL teacher and have taught over 1000 students from around the world.
I've been lucky enough to travel the world while teaching English, preparing people for working, studying, and socializing in English. I've had an absolute blast! Hence, I started Tutor John, an online English tutoring service.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling, training Brazilian jiu-jitsu, coding, and learning languages. I have learned to speak Swedish and Greek, and I have also recently started learning French. This really helps me with my teaching as it allows me to understand what it's like to be in the student's shoes.

How many lessons can I have a week?
You can have as many weekly lessons as you like, go to the pricing section and choose the customize option.
How do I pay for lessons?
Please click on the plan you would like in the pricing section, then fill out the form. You will then be contacted and the payment method will be shared with you.
Can I reschedule my lesson?
Yes, you are able to cancel and reshedule lessons, as long as it's not within 12-hours of the scheduled lesson.
Can I take lessons if I'm a beginner?
Absolutely! Lessons can be peronalised for students of all abilities.
Can I cancel my subscription whenever?
You are able to cancel your subscription whenever you like. No payments will be withdrawn from then on.
